"My regular vet said my senior dog's issues were because "he's old" and there wasn't much that we could do. I believed him because there was never a reason not to, but eventually just refused to accept that answer. I searched online and found Dr. Greenberg. Like myself, she thought we can help my baby, and within weeks, those efforts have resulted in visible, tangible improvements. Champ had a day where he was bouncing around like a puppy again, and has been more affectionate. His eyes came back alive with life again....clearly the combination of new approaches were working and he has been feeling better, happier. For someone like me, it was a leap of faith to put my trust in someone new, but Dr. Greenberg has given myself and Champ hope again. She is smart, open minded, attentive and overall wonderful. I could not recommend her enough.

I completely stand by the review I wrote about 6 months ago. I wanted to provide an update, as my baby boy Champ has since passed. I wanted to recognize the absolute difference that Dr. Greenberg had made in his life, providing comfort and care and exploring all possible avenues to improve his quality of life. Ultimately, when it was Champ's time, Dr. Greenberg was completely transparent with her assessment (one that I also agreed with) and provided in home euthanasia services. For as tough of a day as that was, I can honestly say that it went as perfectly as it could have. Rather than pack Champ up in the car and take him to the vet, where his anxiety/nervousness would kick in, he was treated in the exact spot as his normal acupuncture treatments would occur, by Dr. Greenberg who he was very familiar with, and he was none the wiser to any of it. He drifted off comfortably and peacefully, without fear or anxiety. We should all be so lucky to have that be our final experience here, and I am eternally grateful to Dr. Greenberg for being able to provide that to Champ."

“I really have no words to describe what Dr. Dawn Greenberg has meant to our family. My dog Daisy was diagnosed with severe pulmonary hypertension almost a year ago and needed new medicine for her heart. Likely from all the new medications, Daisy didn't want to eat and I didn't know what to do or where to turn. After being told by all vets they didn't know what was causing her inappetence, I was hopeless googling online holistic treatments for dogs and there I found Dr. Dawn..... I emailed her immediately and from there she started treating Daisy with acupuncture and chinese herbs almost weekly for nearly a year. Through Dawn's treatments, Daisy was able to eat again and had a good quality of life despite all of her health issues. Because of her, I had extra time with Daisy - who has been my best friend of almost 16 years. In addition, Dr. Greenberg is a wonderful person, with a great heart, who truly cares. That is really rare to find in this field. She became a part of our family and even our daughter became so excited to see her each week. “In February 2022 my dog was diagnosed with kidney disease and I immediately began a search to find methods to prolong her life. I reached out to several acupuncturists and holistic medical specialists and Dr. Greenberg just seemed like the right choice and was she ever. She has prolonged my dogs life far beyond what other vets expected. With the combination of herbs, acupuncture, fantastic advice and lots of love Dr. Greenberg has made my dogs life immeasurably better. My dog who is now approaching 18 has been doing fantastic and her blood results are great all things considered. My dog recently took a fall after getting her foot caught in her blanket and sprained her leg and was unable to walk. We saw several emergency vets and her regular vet and they all agreed it was a serious injury that would take a few weeks to recover from and likely wouldn't be able to walk for a week. I immediately texted Dr. Greenberg and she accommodated my schedule and came to treat my dog right away. This was less than 48 hours after the leg injury and a short time after Dr. Greenberg treated my dog and left my dog was suddenly walking and standing without my assistance to eat and pee. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Greenberg and I can never express my gratitude enough to her for extending my dogs life and health. Dr. Greenberg is professional, caring, honest and extremely well educated. I cannot recommend her services enough. As I write this my wonderful dog is sleeping next to me sleeping comfortably and I know that without Dr. Greenberg's expertise, compassion and incredible abilities she wouldn't be.”

“My 5 year old dachshund Gemma was diagnosed with IVDD. She lost complete use of her back legs. Surgery was recommended but we decided to try strict crate rest, medications and acupuncture. "I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Dr Greenberg at North Shore Veterinary Acupuncture. I initially saw her when my 15 year old dog was slowing down, and was giving me a lot of trouble with her meals.
After just a few treatments her energy level had increased to the point that I was walking her at a very fast pace for 45 minutes at a time. We were back to having more fun than we had in years!
The biggest surprise that resulted from her a acupuncture treatments was that her appetite was better than it had been her entire life. Meals were completed in record time 3 times a day at home and when we were away. This was so important to me since she was a senior dog and her appetite was slowly decreasing. I can not stress enough what a pleasure this was and how it improved her life and mine.

"Dr. Greenberg has been a wonderful advocate and practitioner for both of my dogs. When Eliza, age 6 at the time, injured herself we took the traditional western medicine approach. After several tests and an MRI, it was determined that she was born with dysplasia. Surgery was the traditional recommended approach from several Veterinarians, however Dr. Greenberg presented an alternative. We made the decision to give it a try.
